Daxlyn turns 5...

All ready to go for the day with her new Doll and Clothes...

Of coarse she blinks right when I take the pic.

Daxlyn turned 5 this week. She has been making quite the list for her big day. This included bracelet, necklace, a big ring, clothes, big doll, her driver's license and finally a CAR. Yep that's what I said a driver's license and a car. She seems to think she was turning 16 with her big requests. So we did hold up our end of the bargain and almost everything.(sorry no car this year and no license, maybe in 11 years. lol)

Sunday mornings!

Daxlyn trying to keep Bray in the picture.

Sunday mornings are always crazy getting each child ready. This particular morning we were ready early, so I thought I would gets some pics while I could. Braylie or coarse, likes to do her own thing and wonders in and out of the pics as she wants. She is a turkey some days!

Dr. Seuss Week

It was Dr. Seuss week at school in March. Each student could dress up as whatever character they wanted. So we thought we would try to do a fun do on Brekell. It was not as hard as I thought it would be. But more difficult to make sure it stayed in all day with recess and a full day of school.

My little gal!

Braylie has been such a mommas girl. I do love it, but sometimes it makes it hard to do anything when she cries being away from me. She is such a tender hearted gal and is such a strong personality. She is definitely the boss at our house and she really knows how to get everyone to do what she wants. She is a very independent and loves to explore everything in the house.

We love this little gal so much!!!

Basketball Season

Going in for a lay up...

Stealing the ball...

Just made a basket.

We signed Dagen up for basketball this year and had a great time watching him. Since he is younger they begin with a developmental league where they teach them the skills for the most of the time and then scrimmage for the last 10 minutes. I wasn't sure how he would like it but he ended up loving it and improved so much by the end of the season. He was actually grasping the game better each time he played. Now we are on the count down for baseball season.

Brekell Baptism

Brekell has been waiting for this day for a long time. She was excited to be baptised. We are proud of her for making the decision to do this. She is a great example in our house and a great big sister. After her baptism we had a little luncheon at out house and had our friends and family over for it. It was such a great day and Dave did an awesome job.

Christmas

Christmas was a lot of fun this year. I had a really hard time getting into the spirit of the season without snow. But it was still a success and so much fun. The kids all asked for comforter sets this year. That made it really easy for me.

We had such a great day and then headed to Delta to talk to Uncle Wyatt on his mission. It was so fun to talk to him and hear his voice. We all miss him a lot. It is weird to think he will be back for next Christmas.

Brekell turns 8!

Well the day came that Brekell has been anxiously waiting for. She finally turned 8. She has been counting down the days, not for a party or presents, because she finally was old enough to be baptised. This is a milestone she has been waiting for so she could be old enough. We did have a party for Brekell filled with cake decorating, nails painted, and movies with tons of snacks and goodies to eat. They were all sugared out after the decorating i'm sure.

We also had AUnt Jackie make a custom cake. She did such an amazing job. Brekell loved it to pieces.....
